In 2011 ASED organized a series of Biodiversity Fairs in four schools of West Bengal, in South 24 Parganas and North 24 Parganas districts and Kolkata. These were made possible by a grant from the Department of Environment, Government of West Bengal. Three of the fairs were organized in collaboration with Development Research Communications and Services Centre (DRCSC). ASED also participated in two education fairs called "Harekarakamba organized by DRCSC.
The Biodiversity Fairs included activities like displays on Biodiversity projects by organizations and the participating schools, slide illustrated talk on Biodiversity of West Bengal, interactive games on biodiversity, biodiversity puzzle and brain teasing activities, interactive film show on Biodiversity quiz on biodiversity etc.

The 2008 Biodiversity Fair Showcasing Northern West Bengal was organized by ASED in collaboration with the Forest Department, Himalayan Nature Adventure Foundation, Development Research Communication and Services Centre (DRCSC). Twelve educational institutions and ten other organizations participated in the fair. There were stall displays, slide illustrated talks, panel discussion, film shows, nature trail and cultural performances.
For the 2006 fair, ASED, along with the Forest Department, Sunderbans Development Board and NGOs Aranyak, PrakritiSamsad and DRCSC, showcased the rich diversity of plant and animal life through twenty schools and organizations. The fair showcased slide-illustrated talks, a panel discussion, inter-school quiz competition, inter-college debate, interactive games and cultural programmes.
